FAMILY of a murdered couple whose child was found alive 42 years after their deaths described a haunting sign from beyond the grave.
One of baby Holly Marie’s aunts said she had a dream about her late sister after reuniting with Holly, who had been taken to an adoption agency by barefoot women in robes decades earlier.
This came after Harold Dean Clouse moved to Texas from Florida in 1980 with his wife Tina and their young daughter Holly Marie.
The family disappeared the same year after moving.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Donna Casasanta, Clouse’s mother, has spent the past 40 years searching for answers in her case.
In October 2021, the bodies of Clouse and his wife were positively identified, having been discovered in early 1981. But baby Holly Marie was never found.
Finally, this week investigators found Holly Marie alive and well in Oklahoma after using an ancestral site to trace her using DNA.
Holly Marie reunited with some of her biological family members in what Grandmother Donna described as “a birthday gift from heaven.”
She was found on her father’s birthday.
One of Holly’s aunts said she had a dream about her late mother after reuniting with her niece, ABC News reported.
“In my dream, Tina was on the floor rolling around laughing and playing with Holly just as I had seen her many times before when they lived with me before moving to Texas,” Sherry Linn Green told ABC.
“I think Tina is finally at peace knowing that Holly is reunited with her family.”
Holly’s uncle met her about eight months after learning she was alive.
Women who said they were members of a nomadic religious group brought Holly to a church in Arizona as a baby, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said during a news conference.
Dressed in white robes, the women were barefoot and said their religious beliefs included the separation of men and women.
They also said they were vegetarians and did not use or wear leather goods.
The women said they had previously given another baby to a laundromat.
Investigators believe this religious group traveled around the Southwest and was seen asking for food.
While Holly has been found, the investigation into the murders of Dean and Tina Clouse continues.
