Has MrBeast been arrested?
In May 2023, Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, was pulled over in North Carolina while driving a Tesla.
At the time, police officers told him the traffic stop was done because of his tinted windows, but after he got his diving license, an arrest warrant was issued for “transmitting threats,” they said Daily mail.
The police then handcuffed him and took him to a detention cell, where he was left without food and water.
At first, news of MrBeast’s arrest worried fans, but the stunt was later revealed to be a prank by fellow YouTuber Airrack.
Airrack reportedly wanted to avenge MrBeast for a prank he pulled a year earlier.
A Video Airrack’s prank was posted on YouTube and received over 4.6 million views in one day.
The prank was so good that even MrBeast himself was concerned.
“I thought it might be a prank. I thought that was a lot of resources for one prank. When I walked in there, I was like, okay, wait. Maybe it’s not a prank,” said MrBeast.
What did fans say about the video?
After Airrack posted the video online, several fans took to the comments section to express their opinions.
“You know it’s real when Jimmy actually swears in a video,” commented one user.
“That was great,” added another.
“Not only is this one of Airrack’s best videos… It’s one of the best on YouTube. Can’t wait to see what Jimmy does again and how you dance other YouTubers. That has to be at least monthly.” said a third.
While most viewers found the video funny, others were upset at the use of police resources. However, DailyMail notes that the officers in the clip were off duty and Airrack was paying the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office for “contract work”.

Who is Airrack?
Eric Decker is a YouTuber, best known online as Airrack.
He was born on January 12, 1997 and is probably best known for his “Couch Series” collaboration with Logan Paul.
“I’m just a kid with a dream,” his YouTube bio reads.
Airrack joined the video sharing platform in January 2015 and has since received over 1.9 billion views and over 13.2 million subscribers.
Its content consists of prank videos as well as attempts to break world records.
In January 2023, Airrack received the Guinness World Record for largest pizza, having made a pizza measuring 13,990 square feet.
