Hart, Flyers try to win points in 4 games

Thanks to his great scoring ability again, Flyers managed to get a key point in the rankings. That can only help them at this point. Unfortunately for the Flyers, the process isn’t getting any better and likely won’t improve any time soon, so winning results any way they can is the only way to stay on top. charts.
After a day off on Thanksgiving, the Flyers return to the ice to face the top team in the Metro, Hurricane Carolina, during the annual Black Friday game. The Flyers used hot scoring method to a 2-1 win over Carolina on the road earlier this month and they may need another one to salvage a definitely not-so-good week so far.
Game time is 3:30 pm
Team Leaders
Philadelphia Flyers | GP | NS | ONE | P | Hurricane Carolina | GP | NS | ONE | P |
Claude Giroux | 18 | 7 | 9 | 16 | Andrei Svechnikov | 18 | 7 | twelfth | 19 |
Sean Couturier | 18 | 5 | 8 | 13 | Sebastian Aho | 18 | 8 | ten | 18 |
Derick Brassard | 17 | 4 | 7 | 11 | Tony DeAngelo | 18 | 4 | 13 | 17 |
Orange Atkinson | 18 | 7 | 3 | ten | Vincent Trocheck | 18 | 4 | 9 | 13 |
Travis Konecny | 18 | 5 | 5 | ten | Teuvo Teravainen | 18 | 3 | ten | 13 |
There hasn’t been much consistency with the Flyers’ offense this season. One thing worth noting in the last few games is Claude Giroux definitely interested in trying to make something happen. Giroux was at the center of last Saturday’s attack against Boston with the assist for both goals in the 5-2 loss. Giroux has also produced four points in his last five games, topping the team at a time when things are unlikely. Flyers will return to him to try to adjust the ship.
Sebastian Aho is Carolina’s skilled premier center and it shows every time he’s on the ice. While his output has dropped a bit over the past five games, it’s still solid and he’s always dangerous on the ice. Aho is particularly lethal with his power play, with five of his eight goals this season coming from the man advantage.
Carter Hart likely back on target for the Flyers on Friday. Hart did his part to draw the Flyers in Tuesday’s game in Tampa Bay, eventually letting in four goals from 35 shots in the loss. Hart was spectacular against Carolina on November 12, making 39 saves on 40 shots in a 2-1 win.
Frederik Andersen Get the call for the storm. Andersen started 14 of Carolina’s 18 games and was excellent throughout the season. Andersen has the last six starts with three wins and three losses, but only one loss has seen to concede more than two goals. Andersen made 26 saves on 28 shots in the Flyers’ 2-1 win on November 12.
