HARRY REDKNAPP has urged Antonio Conte not to panic shop during his first January transfer window at Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho used his first window to bring Steven Bergwijn to north London in January 2020.
While Redknapp spent around £50m on rookies in January 2009 after replacing Juande Ramos a few months earlier.
New boss Conte has been linked with a host of players as he continues to push for the top four.

“But I tried to bring in a few players during the period in January and they made the difference.
“I took three players from Tottenham, Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis and Noe Pamarot, and it was one of Daniel Levy’s special buy one get one free deals.
“When they came in, we were trying to get out of the bottom and had a great run and kept the form.
“The January window saved us that year. It’s a very tough window but when you’re struggling it’s a godsend. ”
With the January transfer window in full swing, Papa John’s is looking to make its own winter signings with the help of legends Redknapp and Ally McCoist.
