HARRY KANE has reportedly been told to hold off on Bayern Munich signing a new Tottenham contract as the German giants plan a blockbuster transfer.
Kane’s contract with Tottenham expires in the summer of 2024.
However, it is unclear whether the 29-year-old England captain will remain at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium beyond that point.
It is alleged that Bayern ‘quizzed’ Kane this summer following the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.
There was no change and Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann works with an offensive cohort of Sadio Mane, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Müller.
However, none of these players are absolute strikers.
And according to Bild, Bayern could reignite their interest in Kane next summer.
Bayern are trying to get Kane to wait before signing new terms as they believe they can strike a deal in 2023.
When asked by Sky Germany, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic said: “It’s too early to talk about it.”
Kane would be guaranteed trophies at Bayern, with the forward yet to pick up any serious silverware.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte wants Kane to stay and remain part of the project.
Whether Kane’s signing of the contract is now the perfect time, the Italian said: “Yes, the perfect time, but you know very well that you create the perfect time with a project.
“If the player also understands that there is a right process, that everyone is going in the same direction, I think every single player wants to see that.
“And I think Harry sure is happy because he sees that kind of situation.
“There’s a vision, there’s a direction and there’s a unity to try and improve the team, to have the team be at the level of their expectations.”
