Harrowing update from Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez after patio search signals sinister find

TRACES of human remains have been discovered under a recently poured concrete patio during a search for a missing disabled boy.

Six-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez has not been seen since October, when he disappeared from his hometown of Everman, Texas, about 10 miles south of Fort Worth.

Little Noel’s mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, 37, gave misleading information about his whereabouts to police during a health check in March and then fled to India with her husband, authorities said.

She lived with seven of her 10 children in a house and a converted shed but left without Noel in tow, police said.

Now officers are treating the search as a death investigation while tearing apart the Everman home for signs of the boy.

On Tuesday, Everman Police said dogs used to detect human remains alerted police to a rug that Noel’s stepfather discarded before they left.

The dogs also alerted police to the topsoil found beneath the newly poured patio, which Police Chief Craig Spencer ruled was “tampering and suspicious.”

Detectives analyzed the carpet and found it was once used as flooring in the makeshift shed, officials said in a statement.

Minimal physical evidence was found, but police believe human remains were inside the shed before the patio was poured, based on their findings.

Law enforcement used drones, human remains-detection dogs, and mounted officers to search across Everman.

Officials took Tuesday off to allow crews to rest but will continue the “thorough and careful” search.

We’ll keep looking until we find him,” Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer said.

“We’re not giving up. All of our investigators are obviously committed to this case.”

PROMISING SIGNS

Noel’s mother told police, who checked the boy, that he was in Mexico with his biological father, but officers later discovered she was lying.

She allegedly thought her son was “evil,” “possessed” and had a “demon” inside him, Chief Spencer said, citing information from the inquest.

Police believe they were afraid Noel, who had special needs, would hurt their newborn twins.

Rodriguez-Singh’s brother told investigators he saw signs of abuse while watching Noel about a year ago.

The mother allegedly told Noel’s uncle not to give him water as she didn’t want to change his diaper.

The family decided to give him water anyway and allegedly later saw Cindy hitting Noel with keys hanging from a lanyard.

Noel suffered from serious health problems and required oxygen to breathe at times, police said.

There were many rumors that Noel’s mother had sold the boy, but police said there was no evidence to support that theory.

In November, Rodriguez-Singh applied for passports for her six children but not for Noel, police said.

He was last seen by the owner of the property, who referred to the mother as his girlfriend on Thanksgiving Day.

Cops issued an arrest warrant for Rodriguez-Singh and her husband after they flew out of the United States without Noel and are working to extradite them.

If they are brought back to the US, the couple will face charges of abandoning and endangering a child.
