A man’s mysterious death is investigated after his decomposed body is hidden between concrete barriers on a freeway.
The grim find of the body was made by a construction worker in the middle of the interstate in Texas.
After the body of the 61-year-old man was found, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was called to Interstate 10 west of Hamshire Road around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said in a Facebook post that the deceased had been “there for quite some time.”
The investigation into the man’s death is ongoing and an autopsy has also been ordered.
The man’s cause of death has not yet been determined.
The man has been identified as 61-year-old Glenn Earl Stanley.
He was reported missing by his family on March 23.
The 61-year-old was last seen at his home on Block 13000 of Mustang Trail – Sunchase Addition, Hamshire, at 8am that day.
It comes as another decomposed body was found yesterday in a ditch near the railroad tracks in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The man was found Tuesday morning by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad worker.
