Harrowing evidence links ‘murderers’ directly to SIX victims shot ‘execution-style’ in same home after graphic images surface

Disturbing evidence has emerged linking an alleged killer directly to his six victims, who were shot “execution-style” in the same home.

Travis Birkley, 34, of Wisconsin, is accused of murdering six people and then taking a selfie with some of their bodies.

All victims died from a single shot to the head.

Birkley was charged with six counts of murder stemming from an armed robbery gone wrong.

Photos on a Birkley cell phone in January are said to show him wearing distinctive glasses that belonged to his alleged fourth victim, Donta Williams.

“The defendant took a picture of himself in a basement where three bodies were later found,” read the police complaint, which was seen by multiple news outlets.

Officers say he wore William’s glasses after allegedly shooting him in the upper unit.

The bodies of the six people were discovered at a Milwaukee apartment building owned by victims Donta and Michelle Williams, a day after a woman who may also have been killed called 911 and claimed she had been shot in the head, the authorities said police reports.

Police officers investigating the report could not find the address given in the original call.

Officers responding to a wellness check found Williams’ bodies on the first floor after reports that they had not answered her phone.

After police called for backup, they found the bodies of Charles Hardy, Caleb Jordan and Jovini Liddel in the basement apartment.

Police then discovered another victim, Donald Smith, under a pile of clothes in a second floor bedroom.

According to a police report, Birkley’s cousin admitted the two men planned to rob Donta Williams after arranging a meeting to buy narcotics.

Williams’ wife then reportedly surprised the men, causing them to shoot first at her and then at him.

However, the noise caught the attention of the other people in the building, who then had to “shoot” the men because they might be armed or could be potential witnesses.

According to the report, Smith was shot while approaching her with a pistol.

Police found 10 cell phones at the scene.

Many of the other phones are said to have had messages apparently linked to potential drug deals.

One message said: “You’re still on your feet, if so, buy a blunt and a cigarette.”

Officials say they used cellphone tower data to identify Birkley as a potential suspect after a phone he owned was allegedly intercepted on multiple cellphone towers while activity on devices used by all six victims was suspended.

A witness questioned as part of the investigation claimed Birkley was seen the day after the murders with a form of synthetic marijuana called K2, which Donta Williams is said to have often sold, the police complaint revealed.

Police also found 10 shell casings from two different guns at the property, leading them to believe there may have been a second gunman.

So far no one has been taken into custody.

Earlier, Tiffany Cole-Whittington, a cousin of one of the victims, claimed they were shot “execution style.”

That came after neighbors reported an “overpowering stench” coming from the house.
