A bomb threat has been reported at Harrisburg International Airport, police have confirmed.
The threat prompted an evacuation, according to Dauphin County Assistant Director Scott Miller.
Two planes are also being held on the tarmac as a precaution.
Authorities are searching the entire facility but have yet to find anything suspicious.
“A threat was called into HIA. The police evacuated the terminal as a precaution,” he said airport tweeted.
“Arriving planes are held on the ramp. The police search the building. Normal operations will resume as soon as the police give the green light.”
Passengers on social media are sharing their confusion and frustration at the threat, with some complaining that they are “stuck” at the airport while police continue their search.
