Hammond High School grad shooting at Southeastern Louisiana University leaves several injured as police block roads

THREE people were injured in a shooting at a high school graduation on a Louisiana university campus.
Hammond High School was holding its commencement ceremony at Southeastern Louisana University when a suspect opened fire.

Tangipahoa Community Board Member Brett Duncan said a suspected gunman was arrested around 8:30 p.m.
The shooting had nothing to do with the university, according to Southeastern Louisiana University police. The graduation ceremony took place in the university center.
The shooting took place after the ceremony, according to the university.
“Even if there is no danger to others, please stay clear of the UC area as police are still investigating the crime.”
The number of injuries is currently unknown.
