Halo TV trailer shows Cortana, The Covenant and Master Chief In Action

While the men in padded vests rested mid-round, we were treated to a long-awaited trailer of another guy in a vest. Paramount released the first proper trailer for the Halo TV series during halftime at the AFC Championship Game, and boy did it go well. While this isn’t the first look we’ve gotten of Master Chief, we did get a glimpse of the series’ version of several other characters from the Halo Universe.

From what we can glean through the trailer, it looks like the show will establish a lot of the lore we already know about the series. It will also involve the creation of Master Chief, his childhood, how he became mankind’s greatest weapon, and everything that comes with it. The show will make heavy use of the game’s lore and characters, but appears to be setting its own timeline and events.

The trailer also gives us our first look at Cortana. And even though she’s not as green as in the game, she will be played by the same actor, Jen Taylor. We also get a glimpse of the Master Chief in action, wielding a pair of energy swords held in Brutes’ hands. Elites and Jackals also appear elsewhere in the trailer.

After many delays, change at the topand retelling, Paramount’s Halo TV series will finally premiere on March 24.

The series lost one slide during production. Steven Kane and Kyle Killian directed the project at the start, but Killian resigned because he couldn’t make enough time for the scene to take place in Budapest. While Kane has run the show for the entire first season, it looks like he will step down if it is renewed for a second season.

While it’s likely Halo will get a second season due to the “premium nature of the underlying IP and the high investment in ViacomCBS’s part”, Kane’s reasons for leaving were personal, as he also wanted to return. back to the United States. Looks like the Budapest filming location was as much of an issue for him as for Killian.
