Halo Infinite Modder is unlocking (and creating) new vehicles

Halo Infinite modders have started adding previously unplayable vehicles and even creating new ones of their own.

Although this game is still quite rare for popular modding, some players are starting to tinker with the game’s files. So far, that seems to have yielded the best results with vehicles, including those unplayable in the multiplayer release.

Veteran Halo Modifier RejectedShotgun (via PC Gamer) made Pelican dropship can totally fly. And while he thinks it could still use a bit of work, the results are absolutely stunning. “Halo Infinite Pelican is super detailed,” he explains. “It has a ridiculous amount of detail – there’s so much going on.”

“Halo Infinite was recently phased out and thankfully the game is similar enough to the previous Halo to be modifiable,” they explained in the description of the video. “As the most important starter mod, I went ahead and made a Pelican that could fly in multiplayer.”

Gamecheat13 went even further, creating Scorpio-Warthog hybrid, affectionately known as Tank Hog. Combining a Scorpion tank’s turret with a basic Warthog base, this quaint 4×4 tank/hybrid has some powerful firepower.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a tank in action – this mod was available before in Halo: Reach, by altering the HLMG sub-object on the Warthog turret to combine the great firepower of the Scorpion tank with the versatility of Warthog.

All of these mods are currently in development in the Multiplayer version of Halo Infinite, with the main campaign coming out on December 8th. Whether 343 Industries reacts well to these mods or not. remains to be seen, but the studio has previously encouraged mods. inside Master Chief Collection – release extended mod tools to the community.

343 Industries recently reviewed Hallo Infinite’s Battle Pass system after complain that it’s too hard. The studio responded quickly and has since resolved the issue in a recent update. Halo Infinite Modder is unlocking (and creating) new vehicles
