The recently revealed Halo Infinite LA Laker bundle is selling for $1000 on eBay, which is even higher than some listings of the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X.
Microsoft has had a hard time with Halo Infinite affiliate programs, from Krispy Kreme collaboration to Pringle’s, by all means to slap Master Chief over some Rockstar energy drinks. At the higher end are the Xbox Series X and the limited-edition Elite controller, both of which are selling for sky-high prices on eBay.
Well, it looks like those two highly sought after items have just been defeated. As reported by Pure XboxMicrosoft recently unveiled a limited-edition LA Lakers bundle, which includes an LA Lakers controller, a Master Chief figurine and, largest of all, an LA Lakers jersey with the Master Chief 117 on the back. The bundle didn’t even include Halo Infinite itself, but it sold for ridiculous prices on eBay due to its rarity.
The bundle retails for $140 and can be purchased at the Staples Center, but Microsoft warns that it will only be available in limited quantities. From that point on, the writing was hung on the wall, and the package quickly increased in price on eBay. A few lists has bundles up to $1000, more than some are asking for the limited edition Xbox Series X.
There are some more affordable listings that are asking for $510 and $660, but the fact that we’re calling reasonable should say something. The Master Chief figure and Xbox controller are great, but the real reason the price has gone up is the jersey with the Master Chief’s name on the back.
It’s a great shirt, but is it worth almost four times the asking price? The answer is no, but we’ll let you decide that for yourself. Seriously, don’t buy a Halo-themed jersey for grandeur, no matter how great Infinite is.
Vi and Caitlyn are gay and no one can change my mind.
