Gunners pursue Ajax star Mazraoui, Arthur Melo in talks, Vlahovic ‘AGREE’ to £63m deal with Juve

Good morning Arsenal fans

Arsenal have been beefed up in their pursuit of Ajax right-back Noussair Mazraoui.

The 24-year-old Moroccan, who has the last six months of his contract left, told Dutch media: “I think the chances of me staying at Ajax are very small, maybe five per cent.

“I’m open to new things, I’ve been playing here for 16 years and I think it’s a good time to leave.”

AC Milan want to depose Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Football Italia.

The Gabon striker’s days at the Emirates look like numbers after boss Mikel Arteta stripped him of the captain’s armband last month.

And the Gunners are still behind Lyon’s £21.5m-valued Bruno Guimaraes, according to Sky Sports.

Apparently Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Spurs are also keeping an eye on the Brazilian star.

Arsenal were reported to have been interested in the midfielder two years ago when Lyon signed him from Atheltico Paranaense.

But Gini Wijnaldum has dealt a transfer blow to the Gunners by saying he has ‘no intention’ of leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Liverpool star was once thought to be moving to the Emirates, a team in dire need of reinforcements in the midfield.

And in another reserve for Arteta’s team, it is reported that Juventus is preparing to recruit Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian striker is Arsenal’s top transfer target but now looks ready to stay in Serie A.

But the London club are said to be talking to Juventus again about a January loan for midfielder Arthur Melo.

Tutto Mercato editor-in-chief Marco Conterio said Gunners officials will meet with their Juve partners to scrap a temporary deal for the Brazilian.
