Grandmother breaks silence after children ‘strangled by mum’ who jumped out of window
The grandmother of two who was allegedly strangled by their mother has shared her first statements since the tragedy.
Police arrested Lindsay Clancy, 32, a hospital worker who is the prime suspect in the murder of two of her children.

Speaking to NBC Boston, the children’s great-grandmother, Rita Musgrove, shared that she had spoken to her mother for the past week.
She made it clear that nothing seemed unusual.
“It’s quite shocking and heartbreaking,” she said.
She was accompanied by the children’s aunt, Donna Jesse.
“They were just beautiful, beautiful children. Well cared for — they were just beautiful, that’s it. They had a beautiful life,” Jesse said.
Musgrove and Jesse looked emotional as they left roses outside the family home where neighbors had erected a memorial.
The children were found dead at their Massachusetts home, with Clancy allegedly killing her five-year-old daughter Cora and three-year-old son Dawson.
Clancy is also accused of injuring her eight-month-old son Calen, who is now hospitalized at Boston Children’s Hospital.
After allegedly attacking the children, Clancy reportedly jumped out of a window but survived the fall.
She is now in the hospital and is being guarded by the police.
Clancy faces double murder, triple strangulation, and triple assault and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Radio host John DePetro spoke to a family friend, who shared that Clancy’s husband, Patrick Clancy, briefly left the house to pick up take-out food on the day of the murders.
“And in the 25 minutes it took him to pick up food, the unthinkable happened,” DePetro continued Twitter.
DePetro also claimed that Clancy went on an intensive postpartum depression treatment program five days a week.
“I’m curious to hear a statement from the people treating them and what was missing. Sounds like she’s in a desperate situation,” DePetro wrote.
Her husband reportedly worked from home to support her and their children.
