GP reveals the horrifying mistake men make in the shower – and the nasty infections that can follow

MANY men could be guilty if they only lightly clean their genitals in the shower.
While that doesn’t seem like a big deal, a NHS A doctor went viral on TikTok warning men why washing their penises properly is so important.

The family doctor, who went by the nickname “Dr. Sooj” issued a strong warning to men who neglect their washing routine, calling it a “public service announcement”.
His warning particularly concerned the uncircumcised.
Doctor Sooj, 31, from Hertfordshire, says in the clip: “If you are not circumcised, please make sure that every time you shower or bathe you pull your foreskin all the way back and clean the glans area.” Penis.
“This is the base of the helm.”
The GP had some pretty gross news for those willing to stop by and shrug off his warning.
“Failure to do this can result in the build-up of smegma, a thick, cheesy discharge that collects around the genitals.
“This can then lead to bacterial and fungal infections of the skin, for example.”
Not ideal, is it?
However, according to Doctor Sooj, properly cleaning your penis doesn’t require too much effort.
“To prevent this, all you have to do when showering or bathing is gently pull back your foreskin and clean your genitals with warm water.”
The GP said his latest post was “based on numerous cases” he had seen in recent months.
The TikTok has been viewed over 20,000 times, with one person commenting, “As a woman I know that! How come some men don’t?!?”
Someone else said, “How in 2023 do you have to say that?”
“The sad fact is that this is going to come as a shock to far too many grown men,” added another viewer.
Another person commented: “Bleugh! Can you imagine that in this hot, hot weather!”
One person added: “Why do we need to educate so many people about intimate hygiene? It really surprises me, especially in a modern society.”
Another person called it “common sense.”
“Men shouldn’t have to be taught that easily, just lazy guys who don’t,” said one user.
“I can’t believe we have to tell the men to clean their dicks!” someone else commented.
The doctor strives to share medical knowledge with his followers.
“My number one aim was to take some pressure off the NHS while enjoying the process,” Doctor Sooj previously told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“A single video of me can reach millions of people and hopefully help change some people’s health conscious behaviors.
“I also enjoyed debunking medical myths and explaining interesting phenomena about the human body.”
