GOLF legend John Daly BELLY FLOPPED into a lake on the course as fans feared he was being attacked by ALLIGATORS.

The American was playing at the Trump Touring Pro Weekend when he decided to take a dip.

Daly was captured at Trump National Doral in Florida diving straight into the lake.

The course is known to have alligators in the lakes, but Daly didn’t seem to care.

One fan said, “I saw a couple of alligators get out when John Daley jumped in!”

Another added, “I would seriously put my money on Daly if an alligator messed with him.”

One joked, “Alligators wouldn’t dare!!!”

Daly is a two-time major winner and continues to actively compete to this day.

He is loved by fans for his antics on and off the course, like chain-smoking on the green and eating chicken wings for his sustenance.

Daly once played an 18-hole round and only drank Diet Coke – no water.

At the 2008 Wyndham Championship, Daly drank 12 diet cokes and ate six packets of peanut M&Ms.

Most notably, he even smoked 21 cigarettes between takes, but is still going strong at 56.

And he himself teaches his son John Daly II how to play as a budding golfer.
