GMA’s TJ Holmes ‘confident he’ll keep his job’ amid investigation after estranged wife Marilee criticized Amy Robach for ‘affair’

GOOD Morning America’s TJ Holmes is “confident he’ll keep his job” amid the ongoing investigation at ABC as his estranged wife Marilee slammed his alleged affair with Amy Robach.

ABC News’ internal review has entered its fourth week as TJ and Amy continue to be withdrawn from GMA3 broadcast.

“Of course he takes [the review] seriously, but he’s confident he didn’t do anything wrong that would cause him to lose his job,” a source told Page Six.

Another source told the outlet that the investigation is taking time due to the other workplace rumors that TJ was allegedly involved in.

The source added that ABC, a Disney-owned company, is “very cautious.”

“They want to make sure no more women come out,” another insider told the outlet.

As time flies by without a final decision regarding TJ and Amy, Page Six revealed that “people are frustrated” with ABC News President Kim Godwin.

An insider said Godwin, who stepped into the role during the pandemic, was handed “a very messy plate.”

“TJ and Amy aren’t helping,” the insider added.

“They put them on the air, dumped them, and now weeks have passed.

“A lot of people say, ‘Come on, take care of it!’ You really have to deal with it,” the source said.

‘TJ’S LACK OF DISCRETION’ AFFECTS THE FAMILY

Meanwhile, TJ’s estranged wife Marilee Fiebig has broken her silence on the rumored affair.

Speaking through her divorce lawyer, Marilee criticized TJ’s “lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity” towards her and their nine-year-old daughter Sabine.

On Wednesday, Marilee broke her silence about their relationship through her attorney, Stephanie Lehman.

Stephanie told DailyMail.com: “During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee has focused solely on the welfare of her nine-year-old daughter.”

“To that end, TJ’s attorney and I have worked together to move forward with her divorce privately, expeditiously, and as amicably as possible.

“Nevertheless, we remain disappointed by TJ’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity towards Marilee and the party’s daughter.”

She concluded, “Marilee was touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a fresh start in this new year.”

TJ filed for divorce from Marilee late last month in New York after 12 years of marriage.

The US Sun exclusively revealed that TJ hired Robert H. Moses from Moses Ziegelman Richards & Notaro, LLP.

While Marilee has previously remained silent about the “affair” scandal, she subtly expanded her support for Amy’s husband Andrew Shue on Instagram

Marilee liked a photo of Andrew hanging out with his three sons Nathaniel, Aidan and Wyatt in Montana on December 28th.

Last month, Amy moved out of the $5.2 million marriage home she once shared with Andrew.

Amy and Andrew have yet to file for divorce.

‘AFFAIR’ SCANDAL

Amy and TJ’s “affair” broke out in November when they were spotted enjoying a series of PDA-filled “dates” and even a weekend getaway earlier in the month.

In pictures provided by the DailyMail, the TV stars looked intimate while having a drink at a bar in New York City on November 10.

They were also caught appearing to be spending time together at each other’s Manhattan apartments.

The couple, who began anchoring GMA3 in 2020, reportedly began their alleged affair in June.

Since the news broke, TJ and Amy have made no public secret about their relationship.

They were caught kissing and cuddling during a torrid Miami getaway days after Christmas.

The pair also smiled and looked cozy days later during a shopping spree.

TJ and Amy were pulled from GMA3 after the public got wind of their “affair”.
