Now 62-year-old Robin has updated fans of her whereabouts as she was forced to make a detour to Honolulu, Hawaii, on her way to New Zealand.

The TV personality took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to share a selfie with partner Amber Laign.

The journalist gave the camera a contradictory smile with her arms raised as she shared details on some of the travel issues with fans.

“I’m trying to make the best of rerouting the flight to Honolulu until the Auckland flooding subsides.

“I hope everyone is doing well,” she added.

In a second snap, Robin posed with a fan who surprisingly had the “same name” as her and said the interaction was “another twist” to their journey.

On Saturday, the news anchor and Amber were finally able to continue their journey as she said goodbye to the beautiful beaches of Waikiki Beach.

WHERE IS ROBIN?

Earlier this week, fans noticed that Robin disappeared from the show after barking at Amy Robach and TJ Holmes over their highly publicized relationship.

As Friday’s episode of GMA aired, the presenters set about celebrating Jimmy Kimmel’s 20th anniversary as a late-night star, but Robin was nowhere to be seen.

The official GMA Twitter account shared a clip of the fake feud between Matt Damon and Jimmy, which host Lara Spencer spoke about.

However, the mainstay Robin wasn’t in the episode at all.

It didn’t appear that Robin’s absence was planned as the hosts didn’t mention it or offer an explanation.

CAST SHADOWS

The TV star has been smacking her co-hosts Amy and TJ for weeks following their widely publicized ‘affair’.

However, she did not directly address the situation on air.

Robin’s comments were largely reduced to cryptic references during her morning news.

JOURNEY DOWN

Meanwhile, the GMA star announced Thursday morning that she was taking a break from the morning show, which could explain her absence on Friday.

Robin took to Instagram on Thursday morning and shared her daily uplifting video in which she read an encouraging quote and said a prayer.

She began the clip by saying, “Good morning! Good morning Glam Fam!” before addressing her team.

“You may be in a limited environment right now that you cannot change. When you regularly see lack, dysfunction, struggle, it can take root in you where you think it should be.

“The key is not to let the environment affect you. Don’t let mediocrity become the norm.”

Robin continued, “Don’t water down your dreams by accepting less when you know God created you for more.

Then she read the prayer for the day before revealing that she would be flying to the other side of the world.

“After several months of planning, the Glam Fam and I are going to New Zealand!” announced Robin.

“We are leaving today, we will report from there next week. It will be a bit of a challenge for us to publish a daily message and prayer, but you know we are with you in spirit always.”

She finished by saying, “Okay, get out there and have a blessed day and be a blessing,” before winking at the camera.
