Shortly after the weather segment wrapped, Michael, 51, looked at Robin, 62, and asked her a specific question.
“Robin, what is it time for?” Michael asked.
Robin shot back, “Oh come on,” hoping Michael wouldn’t press for an answer, which he did.
Reluctantly, she began singing “Pop, pop, pop news.”

Robin’s singsong phrase referred to the GMA segment Pop News.
Lara chimed in to sing with her, empowering Robin to sing it more passionately.
Everyone laughed out loud at Robin’s introduction to the segment, including her.
She admitted the song was something she only shared with her co-hosts.

The awkward moment is one of only a handful Robin has had at GMA recently.
Oops!
Robin made an embarrassing mistake at GMA in February.
And the longtime presenter was in the middle of an interview with a hot young actress when she did it.
It was Emily in Paris week on the morning show celebrating the popular Netflix series.
On one of the days, Robin and co-hosts Michael Strahan and Lara Spencer sat down to talk to the show’s star, Ashley Park.
She plays a character named Mindy Chen, but Robin had trouble separating fact from fiction.
After showing a clip of the show, Robin wanted to ask Ashley a question about fans mistaking her for her character – only to become a victim herself.
“And you know, Mindy… Mindy?” Robin corrected herself before bursting out laughing. “Here I call you by your character’s name. I’m sorry.”
As Robin and his other hosts continued their laughter, Ashley put up with it all.
“It just means we did our job well,” Ashley said, referring to the fact that people can get lost in their characters.
NOT AGAIN
Earlier, actress Naomi Ackie, 31, stopped by to promote her starring role in Whitney Houston’s biopic, I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
During the interview, the GMA host asked, “Tell people more about yourself.”
Naomi jokingly replied, “Me?”
Robin said, “Yes! You!”
The Lady Macbeth star laughed as she continued: “My name is Naomi!”
The ABC star also giggled and exclaimed, “I’ve got the thing!”
Naomi mentioned: “I’m from East London. I am 31 years old. I do acting.”
Robin said, “I’m not going to ask you what zodiac sign you are.”

Namoi seemed confused as she said, “Oh!”
