He and Robin Roberts were absent from Friday’s morning show.

On Monday morning, both returned without information on their whereabouts.

George Stephanopoulos joined them at the desk.

George took his usual place at the desk on Friday.

However, he was joined by two different faces than usual.

Juju Chang took Michael’s place and Rebecca Jarvis replaced Robin.

None of the regular GMA presenters gave any information as to where they were.

Michael was there the rest of the week and was joined by George and Linsey Davis Monday through Wednesday.

Robin appeared on the show alongside Lara Spencer as they covered Wimbledon from London, England.

They weren’t in the studio until Thursday, however.

Throw away the desk

Though Robin wasn’t in the studio with her co-hosts, she kept fans updated on where she was during her initial absence.

Prior to her London trip, Robin was away from the show to enjoy the summer with her fiancé, Amber Laign.

However, she remained silent on social media during this time.

But while in London, the GMA presenter reappeared in a picture with Lara and friends.

On Sunday she attended the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London.

The reporter’s co-star Lara used her profile to snap a hilarious selfie with the ABC star and two other friends.

The ladies looked overjoyed to attend the prestigious sporting event and both showed off their sophisticated style in colorful button-down blouses and blazers.

The blonde captioned her post “WME meets GMA #wimbledon” and fans flooded the comments section with compliments.
