GMA’s Lara Spencer fans are asking “how long” after the star was forced to take a different approach to her role as presenter

GMA fans have asked Lara Spencer how much longer she has to wear a boot after returning to the show in shocking shoes this month.

Scores of GMA viewers shared their concerns for her in the comments on a photo the co-host shared on Instagram on Thursday.

In the photo, she sat on the set wearing a yellow floral top with a blue skirt and a boot on her right foot, which stood on a scooter.

Lara, 53, captioned the photo: “Multifunctional” with several scooter emojis.

With nearly 2,000 likes, many of her followers expressed concern for her and how long it would take for her to fully recover.

One user asked, “How long in the trunk?”

“I’ve been in one all summer. Ugh,” they added.

Another added: “How much longer do you have to wear that boot?”

“How long do you have to have this brace on your foot,” said another, adding, “I hope you recover [and] Get well soon.”

“Get well soon Lara,” said one Instagrammer simply.

The GMA star shared a health update earlier this month after she underwent foot surgery for a torn plantar plate and ligament that had worsened over time.

In another Instagram post, Lara revealed a video of herself exercising her body at a rehabilitation center.

The 53-year-old is in the process of regaining her health as she takes to social media to update fans on her progress.

In addition to the TV personality’s new shocking attire, Lara has only added to fans’ concerns with her health updates while she recovers from foot surgery.

Her injury even forced her to take a back seat during the finale of a live show that aired in late January.
