GMA’s Janai Norman ‘shames’ co-host over huge on-air failure as Eva Pilgrim admits she’s ‘so embarrassed’
GMA’s Janai Norman has chided her co-hosts for completely failing during a segment on Saturday’s show.
The 33-year-old has blasted Whit Johnson and Eva Pilgrim for not knowing the answers to their questions and said they should be “shamed”.

During an issue of Hometown Trivia, Janai was reading from a pink note card when she revealed she had some fun trivia questions about Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Since Eva used to live there, Whit and Janai teased her that she should know the answers.
The first question Janai asked was, “This famous singer and native of Philly was a member of the first black singing group to make the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
“Before solo success for songs like New Attitude.”
After reading her notecard, Whit and Eve continued to stare at her in silence.
The GMA moderators seemed to be thinking hard about their answers, but couldn’t seem to come up with anything.
“Shame, shame,” Janai told them before finally revealing that the correct answer was Patti LaBelle.
Whit just said, “Oh!”

Eva, on the other hand, seemed upset that she didn’t know the answer.
She exclaimed, “Oh! Of course, Ms. Patti LaBelle. Oh, this is so awful, I’m embarrassed.”
Janai then posed the final trivia question, asking her co-hosts to tell her the name of the Bradley Cooper movie in which the actor sang with Lady Gaga.
Once again, Whit and Eva were completely at a loss and Janai had to “shame” them again.
“A Star Is Born,” she revealed, was the correct answer.
Janai recently returned to GMA after taking time off for an extravagant trip to Egypt.
Last month, the hostess took the dream vacation and shared photos and videos of her adventures.
Suddenly she smiled as she rode a camel through the desert.
The GMA star simply captioned the post, “Good morning Egypt.”
Several of her co-hosts flocked to the comments to share their awe.
Kenneth Moton joked, “Love the new GMA car service! Astonishing!”
ABC journalist Cecilia Vega said, “Ok, I’m imagining it.”
Gio Benitez enthusiastically commented: “This. Is.Everything!!!”
Meteorologist Ginger Zee wrote: “Wowsers! I can’t wait to hear everything.”
Janai also posted a video and photo at an Egyptian perfumery on her Instagram story.
She sat next to an expert who mixed different scents and explained the source of her strong smells.
Janai sniffed a non-oil based one and was overwhelmed by the change in scent.
The journalist captioned the video clip: “Learn about Egyptian perfumes”.
