GMA’s Ginger Zee turns off the fan by saying “You’re talking to a human” after making rude comments about the new haircut

LOVED meteorologist Ginger Zee slammed a fan for making a rude comment about her new hairstyle.

The Good Morning America host shared a compliment and a rude remark after getting bangs, reminding her audience that she’s “a fun-loving type of person.”

Zee took to Instagram flaring up fans who have been bombarding her with unwanted opinions since she got the blow.

While some fans have sent messages like “LOVE THE BANGS” and “Your hair does awesome,” not everyone is impressed.

One user apparently thought she was writing to someone who manages the account instead of the weather forecaster herself.

“I don’t like Ginger’s new haircut at all,” the fan said with a disappointed emoji.

Ginger returned the criticism, saying, “If you write to this account, tell me Ginger.

“A person who just has fun.

“But thanks for your opinion! Have a blessed day.”

Other users went to the comments on their post to tell their favorite meteorologist to ignore the hate and move on.

“People want to dictate. You boo!” said American model Nyle Dimarco.

“The third slide had me saying, ‘You’re texting me, a human,'” wrote another fan.

A third concerned follower said: “It only matters if YOU like them!”

Fans continue to defend Ginger against online hate as she faces criticism for her hairstyle change.

It comes after the popular meteorologist shared her pledge to recycle fashion for the good of the environment on Instagram on Saturday.

“85% of our fashion ends up in landfills or is incinerated each year,” Ginger wrote in the caption of her post.

“A big reason I’ve been keeping up with the #NoNewClothes challenge since last June. A great opportunity – upcycle what you already have.”

Ginger went on to describe all of the people who have helped her in her eco-conscious endeavor, explaining that she hopes viewers can remember that it saves them money too.

“These aren’t brand new ideas, but it’s a change I hope we can all remember… saving money too!” she noted.

Although the initial comment on Ginger’s post supported and reflected the sentiment of clothing upcycling, the tone quickly changed.

One user trolled Ginger for her hairstyle choice.

“1950 called and they want their haircut back,” they wrote.

However, another fan quickly jumped to Ginger’s defense – and angrily called out the user.

“Why are you so bitter and mean?!” They asked.

“She is beautiful!”

Still, another hater criticized Ginger’s hair.

“What have you done to your hair???? Looks like an off the shelf dye job,” they wrote.

More fans then took to the comments section to share what they’re doing to recycle fashion and defend Ginger’s new look.

“I’m a seamstress, I try to buy clothes from thrift stores and just make alterations. Cheaper patterns and fabrics,” commented one viewer.

Ginger even reacted to this fan.

“That’s great and thank you!” said the meteorologist.

Other fans continued to praise Ginger’s hairstyle in response to critical viewers.

“[Your] Hair is amazing,” one person wrote.

Ginger made the change to her hair earlier this week, The US Sun previously reported.

She posted about it on Instagram on Friday morning to show off the makeover.

Ginger had just returned to GMA studios on Monday after a recent battle with the flu.

She wore a cheerful yellow sweater over a black top and paired it with a black and white skirt.

Many viewers celebrated her return to the show by saying, “Nice to see you back on TV. Hope you’re feeling better. Looking great as always!”
