On Wednesday’s show, Robin Roberts told viewers that Ginger was in Albany, NY, where more than a foot of snow fell overnight.

The camera then moved to Ginger, who was clad in a heavy red winter coat with the hood pulled up, black pants, boots, a hat and gloves.

She let everyone know that the snow was “wet, heavy and super dense.”

A bit of snow was still falling as the weather forecaster let New Yorkers know there were more storms to come.

Ginger informed East Coast viewers that they should be concerned about the wind when they don’t have storms.

When the 42-year-old was done with her prognosis, she turned back to Robin.

“Ginger, wasn’t it difficult to get to you this morning?” asked Robin.

She nodded and told her co-host, “Well, that’s the thing. We came in last night, we were in the rain. But the person who was supposed to take me back hasn’t arrived yet, so yeah, the roads certainly keep people very slow.”

“In order. Well we’re glad you’re safe,” Robin told her. “Thank you very much.”

WARM UP

Ginger travels a lot in the cold and snow, so she had to stay wrapped.

She recently revealed the secret clothing she wears under her winter clothes while reporting in snowy weather.

The chief meteorologist shared the secret on Twitter while reporting on the last Nor’easter to hit the east coast from upstate New York.

Ginger, 42, shared a video of herself donning a large red coat in Albany, New York as it snowed steadily around her on Tuesday morning.

“Nice to be here! 8-14 ‘close by until all is said and done later tonight,’ she said in the tweet.

“Everyone stay safe – and as @RobinRoberts said – don’t drive now unless you have to because we have someone struggling to get to us – / Two hours late due to snow.”

When several fans of the morning show urged Ginger to stay safe herself, one wondered how she stayed warm during her coverage.

“How does she keep looking warm?” asked the fan via Twitter.

The GMA Meteorologist answered quickly She says she wears a “heated vest” under her winter clothes.

Many fans responded to the reveal, with one saying it was the “smartest piece of fashion” and another writing that they too are a big fan of heated vests.

Ginger replied again with a single fire emoji, suggesting she thinks the chic item of clothing is “fire.”

ATTENTION, GINGER

Earlier this month, Ginger shared some worrying news about the impact of her high-pressure job.

The Good Morning America meteorologist shared a post on her Instagram Stories suggesting her career has put her in jeopardy.

Ginger reposted a shocking infographic that suggests her weather-based job may have affected her health.

The post claimed, “Trauma from extreme weather events can change how your brain works.”

The 42-year-old shared the worrying picture along with her own caption, which simply read: “I’m in trouble…”

The post itself went on to explain, “Trauma from extreme weather events can change how your brain works, making it harder to process information, according to a new study.
