GMA’s DeMarco Morgan casts ‘shadows’ on ex-co-hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, who are on the air live after being axed from the show

GOOD Morning America host DeMarco Morgan has been accused of “shadowing” former colleagues TJ Holmes and Amy Robach.

TJ and Amy were dropped from GMA after it was revealed they were more than co-stars and had an alleged affair last year.

During Monday’s episode of GMA3: What You Need to Know, Doctor Jen Ashton spoke about the benefits of exercise for stress.

“We tend to associate movement with something we can see, something superficial, cosmetic, aesthetic, vanity-related,” Jen began.

“Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but we also need to remember that the benefits of exercise really serve to build our resilience to all kinds of stressors.

“Whether it’s an accident, illness, psychological trauma or a low point in our lives.

“This latest study was small, but it looked at people for eight weeks. After examining them, they actually had a 15 percent increase in their physiological endurance and they saw a benefit,” Jen continued.

“Well, that might be kind of a reasonable study finding, but I think it reassures us that you never know when you’re going to have an accident or face an illness or…”

DeMarco then chimed in, saying, “Or lose a job!”

“That’s right, mental stress, psychosocial stress and that’s why our movement is so important.

“Just as you have a rainy day fund in your bank account, you exercise, no different, to build that resilience,” Jen replied.

DeMarco’s comment did not go unnoticed by viewers and when the clip was shared on GMA3’s Instagram, comment was quick to follow.

“‘Or lose a job.’ Man out here casting shadows on co-workers,” one person wrote.

Another person replied: “Right? I noticed that too. Not cool.”

TJ, 45, and Amy, 49, sent shockwaves through the television world when their relationship was revealed in late November last year.

Apparently, their multi-month affair began when they were training for the New York City Half Marathon in March 2022.

In early December, it was reported by PageSix that Amy and the Melrose Place star’s 12-year marriage had been “rocky” and that she was in a “happily relationship with TJ.”

A source told the outlet, “They had constant issues over the years and eventually broke up.”

During that time, another insider confirmed Amy’s new romance with TJ: “They’re in a relationship, they’re very happy. They are both separated from their spouses and they are consenting adults – they have the right to do what they want.”

It was reported last month that Amy “has no regrets” about her romance with TJ.

A source claimed things are serious between the two, telling Us Weekly: “It’s not an affair and they’re seriously in love.

“And they’re going to be completely open about their relationship now,” the source added.

The pair are certainly in love, and in late January they were kissing on the street just hours after being kicked out of the GMA.
