GMA’s Deborah Roberts admits she ‘grieves hard and deeply’ at the tragic loss in her new live TV appearance

GOOD Morning America correspondent Deborah Roberts has admitted on live TV that she is grieving.
Tina Turner passed away on Wednesday and Deborah took the loss “hard and deep”.
On Thursday morning, Deborah appeared on GMA to talk about Tina’s life and legacy.
Robin Roberts first introduced the section, saying that “there will never be anyone like her” before handing it to Deborah.
“You’re right. She was a force and a force that we thought would always be with us,” she said.
“This is a heavy and deep loss for many of us.”


Deborah went on to call her a “powerful legend” and a “potent symbol of strength and survival.”
The GMA employee then presented her career and everything she has achieved, as well as her personal life.
In the end, Deborah and Robin talked about Tina on set while Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos listened.

Tina died on May 24 at the age of 83.

The representative added, “There will be a private funeral service that will be attended by close friends and family.”

Roger Davies, Tina Turner’s manager, 30, also paid tribute to the star, saying, “Tina was a unique and remarkable force of nature with her strength, incredible energy and immense talent.”
“From the day I met her in 1980, she believed in herself completely in a way few others did at the time.”
“It has been a privilege and an honor to be a close friend and her manager for more than 30 years,” Davies continued.
Tina was also active on social media, and there was also an official note on her Instagram page, which has over 954,000 followers post at her death.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner,” the post reads.
“With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow.”
The post continued, “Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who is leaving us her greatest work: her music.”
“Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you very much.”

Before her tragic death, Tina looked frail in her most recent public photos and seemed to need help walking.
The last time Tina was seen in public was in November 2019 when she attended the premiere of “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” in New York City.


Most of the photos from the event saw her seated and she was joined by her husband Erwin Bach and Oprah Winfrey to walk the red carpet.
In March 2021, Tina took to Twitter to share her excitement for her own documentary, in which she looks quite frail while standing in front of a big screen TV.
