GMA is staffed by “a bunch of horny high school kids,” claims a former employee after the Amy & TJ scandal

A FORMER Good Morning America employee claimed that amid the scandalous relationship between TJ Holmes and Amy Robach, ABC News has a “woke” office culture.

Known only as Sascha, the contributor worked as a digital news associate for the network in 2014, around the time TJ started as a presenter.

Sascha told The Cut that office relationships, like the one between TJ and Amy, are common among men and women with more seniority on the network.

Other sources told the outlet that there were constant rumors of “office liaisons” among the company’s top executives.

“It was very commonplace,” said a former employee. “It felt like everyone was sleeping around.”

Because of the nature of the job—long, irregular hours—the younger, female employees didn’t have much time outside of work, making it easier for higher-level men to develop relationships with them.

Ruth, who left GMA in 2019 but still works as a producer at ABC News, said the morning show in particular seemed to be run by “a bunch of bright high school kids” who were “learning how to do news in the ’80s, when people have blown in the bathroom yet.”

In a statement, an ABC News spokesperson told The Cut, “We do not condone or permit harassment or intimidation of any kind and we take these matters very seriously and promptly.

“Creating a safe, respectful and professional work environment for everyone has always been a top priority at ABC News.”

MORNING SHOW RELATIONSHIP

Shockingly, TJ and Amy appeared to be of the same build before they began their consensual affair.

The couple joked that they had become international news after news of their relationship became public.

TJ kicked off the show telling everyone, “Hey everyone, welcome to GMA3: What You Need to Know this Friday. You know, it’s a pity it’s Friday.”

He and Amy both giggle as she quickly replied, “Is it?”

Still laughing, TJ explained sarcastically, “It’s been a great week. I just want it to go on and on. Just enjoy it.”

“Oh, speak for yourself,” Amy told him. “I’m really looking forward to the weekend.”

She added: “And I’m sure everyone else does too. We all love our Fridays here. At least some of us.”

The pair were pulled from the show by the network’s president, Kim Godwin.

At the time, she said the relationship was “not a violation of company policy” but had become a drain on the GMA brand.

Weeks later, it was announced that the couple would be leaving ABC.

A source told The US Sun: “It’s official. Amy and TJ are out on the network.”

“After several productive discussions with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that moving away from ABC News is best for everyone.

“We recognize their talent and dedication over the years and are grateful for their contributions,” said an ABC News spokesperson.

The popular presenters have been missing from the show since November 2022, when their alleged affair was exposed and the two were temporarily put on hiatus.

Amy and TJ started working together at GMA in 2020.
