GMA Host Michael Strahan’s Girlfriend Kayla Quick’s Past From Strip Club Gig to ‘Stealing Grandma’s Jewelry’

GMA Michael Strahan’s longtime girlfriend, Kayla Quick, has a checkered past, including a theft arrest.

However, Kayla doesn’t seem to have the squeaky clean image that fans have come to expect for the GMA frontman.

In fact, Kayla — a former cocktail waitress at a strip club — got into legal trouble years before meeting Michael.

The troubles began when Kayla was 14, and she was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly getting into a scuffle in her hometown of Port Charlotte, Fla., according to official documents obtained by Radaronline.com in January 2016.

The outcome of the case is unknown as she was a teenager at the time.

A few years later, however, she ran into legal troubles again after she was arrested for allegedly stealing from her elderly grandmother.

The outlet reported that an affidavit of arrest filed by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in May 2005 detailed the incident in which she was charged with grand larceny.

The affidavit said Kayla and her then-boyfriend Justin were accused of breaking into their 83-year-old grandmother’s home and looting about $6,000 worth of jewelry.

After her grandmother discovered the missing items and a neighbor informed her that they had seen Kayla and Justin lurking around the house, she decided to file a complaint.

Hours later, Kayla called the police and, according to the affidavit, confessed to her wrongdoing.

Here, too, the result could not be ascertained because the case was handed over to the youth authorities.

Additionally, the outlet reported that when Kayla was 18, she worked four months as a cocktail waitress at a Tampa strip club, Thee Dollhouse.

A source who knew the now-businesswoman claimed she would transfer “up to $2,000 a week.”

Kayla’s ex Justin revealed to the publication that she was a “good girl” growing up, although her demeanor changed through her teenage years when her troubles with the law began.

He also claimed that “she became this huge party girl almost overnight,” despite previously living a more low-key lifestyle.

The US Sun reached out to Michael and Kayla’s representatives for comment, but received no response.

CAREER STEPS

Kayla’s supposed partying habits differ drastically from Michael’s lifestyle, as he often hops to his numerous TV appearances.

After retiring from an impressive 15-year streak as a defensive end for the New York Giants, Michael focused on his next venture as a TV host.

He had a brief stint as Kelly Ripa’s co-host on Live! With Kelly and Michael before heading to ABC’s Good Morning America.

Most weekdays, the 51-year-old hosts the news show alongside co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.

He is also a sports analyst at Fox NFL Sunday, hosts the game show The $100,000 Pyramid, and has a skincare and clothing line.

RARE APPEARANCE

Kayla recently made a rare public appearance with Michael when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The couple shared a kiss on the red carpet at the event in Los Angeles on Monday.

Michael, who looked handsome in a navy blue suit, was also joined by his mother and children Tanita, 31, his daughter with ex-wife Wanda Hutchins, and twins Isabella and Sophia, 18, who he shares with ex-wife Jean Muggle.

He is also father to a son, Michael Jr., 28, with his ex Wanda.
