The TV presenter made a “unique” jump from New Zealand’s Sky Tower, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere.

In a GMA clip shared on Twitter, Robin can be seen preparing for experiences as she told viewers, “So if you’re in the birthplace of bungee, you gotta jump!”

In a bright orange all-in-one dress, she narrated the clip, saying, “My heart was pounding as we rode up the elevator, the reality of it all sank,” adding that she’s “good with heights.”

Robin confirmed that she would venture 53 stories and be 630 feet in the air as she prepared to jump.

“It’s like a vertical zip line,” an employee told her as he checked her harness one last time.

“Oh my god, this is happening!” exclaimed Robin as she stepped onto the ledge, before referring to her GMA co-stars Michael Strahan, Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos.

“I know there was a lot of trash talk in the studio, Lara and Michael walking back and forth, George standing behind me the whole time,” said Robin.

“With the adrenaline pumping through my veins, there’s no turning back from here,” she added as she stepped forward and prepared to drop.

Robin described it as “a one-of-a-kind thrill” and admitted she was “thrilled to have my feet firmly on the ground again”.

As she hugged a member of staff after landing, Robin told her: “Oh my god, that was so amazing! It was more life and less fear! I really feel like I can do anything!”

The clip then shows Robin speaking live with her co-hosts as they hosted GMA from the New York studio.

“Incredible thank you so much everyone involved security checks are through the roof but this fall was no joke!” she said.

When George asked her what the 11 seconds of the fall was like, Robin replied, “It’s the first three seconds of the 11 because it goes against human nature.

“You’re on the brink and I’ve taken these little baby steps and the human instinct is not to let go!

“Well it wasn’t the most dignified jump but I feel good about it,” she added, when Michael chimed in, joking, “I don’t know if you jumped or if he pushed you!”

“Proud of you Robs!” Lara told her when Robin thanked her co-hosts and revealed that she would never do the bungee again.

Viewers were certainly impressed by Robin’s jump and took to Twitter to comment.

“Wow, I’m glad it was you and not me! I virtually jumped with you and my heart was racing! Good for you!” said one person.

Another wrote: “ROBIN!!! I cheered and cried!! What an absolutely AMAZING & BRAVE moment!”

A third person tweeted: “That was awesome @RobinRoberts. Better you than me!! You managed! Bravo and I bow.”

Robin’s courage comes just days after she shared a cryptic message about “suffering” and “depression” on her Instagram.

ROBIN’S MESSAGE

On Tuesday, Robin shared a Wednesday wisdom video as it was already Wednesday in New Zealand.

She is currently there with her partner Amber Laign and her GlamFam.

Robin stood in front of a sliding glass door that showed a lake behind.

The TV star thanked everyone for tuning in and then began the morning message and prayer.

“There are levels that can only be reached by going through difficult times. Don’t get stuck in suffering,” she read.

“Don’t settle for depression thinking you’re lost in life. Don’t let this setback in your finances convince you that you will always struggle.

“Keep an attitude of faith and go through. Keep believing when every thought tells you it will never change.

“Keep explaining God’s promises when it seems like it’s going nowhere. This difficulty is not there to defeat you. No no. She is there to encourage you.”

Robin finished: “You’re not just going to come out. You gonna come out what?

“Stronger,” her GlamFam replied.

“And better,” Robin replied.

The GMA presenter then ended the video with prayer, urging everyone to “be a blessing.”

Robin posts the morning message and prayers each morning before appearing on GMA.

In recent months, however, her messages have been more cryptic since the affair scandal between her co-hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes came to light.
