Girl Scout ‘Warning’ with cops urging public to hand over Thin Mint and Caramel deLite cookies
Law enforcement in one state has issued an alert over some iconic Girl Scout cookies.
Police officers in Willingboro, New Jersey are reportedly on the lookout for Girl Scout cookies like Thin Mints and Caramel deLites.
According to CBS News Philadelphia, they’ve even gone so far as to officially warn members of the community.
This warning came expressly in the form of a “wanted poster”.
The poster describes different types of Girl Scout cookies and urges the public to beware as they are “highly addictive items”.
She continues to jokingly warn the community that the cookies are being sold by “young entrepreneurs who can distract citizens with their smiles and charisma”.
The end of the warning states that anyone with more information should call Willingboro Township PD.
“Anyone with information about the cookies listed, please notify Willingboro Township PD @ 609-877-3001,” it said.
In the upper right corner of the poster, the Girl Scout Cookie situation is given a “Detective Bureau Case #2023-002023”.
Police urged the community to “turn over” any cookies they may have.
The department said they would “dispose” of them as needed.
If the Willingboro Township PD happens to get their hands on boxes of Girl Scout cookies, they might notice a difference in flavor between some of the same types of cookies.
As The US Sun previously reported, TikToker and Girl Scout fan Erin Robinson revealed an intriguing reason why some cookies can taste very different despite being the same variety.
Some Girl Scout cookies are said to be made at different bakeries.
That means, for example, some thin mints from one bakery will taste different than thin mints made elsewhere, Erin says.
The two bakeries Erin compared were Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers.
According to her, ABC Baker’s Thin Mints were “SUPERIOR”.
The cookie was “cuter,” she said in her video.
“There’s more of a chocolate flavor.”
“The little brownies taste more like mint,” she added.
