Ginger Zee shares an emotional message about ‘Stories We Tell Ourselves’ as she gives fans an update on a new project

GINGER ZEE shared a comforting quote for fans with a message about “the stories we tell ourselves.”

Zee shared the interesting quote with her followers on social media on Friday morning, along with some updates on her current work projects.

The quote is captioned above an image of the sunset shining through a single tree outside.

“The light that burns within you reflects who you are far more accurately than the stories you have told yourself,” it says.

Judging by her Instagram feed, Ginger is currently working on staying busy and venturing into other business ventures.

The Meteorologist is currently working on a new project with ABC and Hulu, which will premiere in just under a week, on Tuesday, September 20th.

It will show how committed she is to finding a solution to help the US extract more important minerals.

In her latest project, Zee is shown entering an Idaho mine alongside an expert who explains that the US has only a fraction of the market and demand for “phones, laptops and renewable batteries” is high.

“In this special (stream it next Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. on @abcnewslive and @hulu) I visit the first cobalt mine in the US in more than 30 years, we visit an electric vehicle battery testing facility in Chattanooga, and finally we examine the company lead exploration in deep-sea mining,” revealed Zee.

Zee isn’t always silent and doesn’t leave her followers’ responses unanswered.

She was quick to clear up rumors after her fans recently speculated that she was leaving GMA.

“I’m still the chief and I have no intention of going anywhere,” said Ginger.

Their silence broke after their followers assumed Sam Champion would be promoted once he announced he was joining the DWTS line-up.

“Why else would Sam Champion be picked for Dancing with the Stars unless he’s made ABC News’ chief meteorologist?” said one Twitter user.

Ginger is pretty happy that her fellow meteorologist joins the cast.

Ginger took part in the dance series in 2016 and took third place with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

Sam announced that he will also get some tips from his workhorse.

“We’ve already talked about it … she does some serious weather reporting, so I’m not bothering her now,” he said.

“But yeah, I’ll get some tips.”

Ginger jokingly said, “When all else fails… spin like a tornado.”
