Ginger Zee poses with the whole family in a rare private photo while GMA hosts enjoy a California beach vacation

GOOD Morning America meteorologist Ginger Zee has shared rare private photos of her entire family.

Ginger, 42, brought her mother-in-law with her when she was enjoying the California beach with her husband and children.

The GMA star is married to Ben Aaron, a New York-based media contributor.

The couple have two sons together: Adrian Benjamin, six, and Miles, four.

In an Instagram photo, Ben’s mother, Janis Yudelson Salerno, posed with her grandchildren while the entire group wrapped up in their sweatshirts.

Ginger captioned the heartwarming post: “Family time is always the best time.

“The boys were given second chances in the Bay Area and loved being with grandpas and grannies galore.”

Ben’s mom took to Instagram and shared another group photo of the family.

In the snap, Ginger wrapped her arms around her kids, who were joking around, while Ben covered his eyes with a pair of sunglasses.

Janis wrote: “Family above everything.”

In her post, ABC News’ chief meteorologist also promised fans that she will return to the morning show on Monday.

NO RETREAT

While the star has been enjoying some time off, meteorologist Sam Champion, 61, has filled in for her.

Sam recently posted a selfie of himself taking off his shirt and drinking his cup of coffee in the garden.

He wrote: “Good morning” and used the hashtag “Bring Coffee”.

The Dancing With The Stars alum uploaded another photo of himself and husband Rubem Robierb.

The couple snuggled up together while having breakfast together.

He added: “Breakfast of champions.”

During the promotion for the ABC program, a troll jumped into the comments section and said, “I’d rather watch GINGER.”

Despite the criticism, Sam has continued to post on social media and contribute to the morning show.

Robin Roberts, 62, recently announced her co-star would be replacing Ginger during her break.

“Sam Champion is on for Ginger and has the latest information on where the threats are headed next,” she explained.

OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE

Ginger previously hinted at her absence as she shared photos from her family vacation in California.

She added snaps of a cloudy beach, her eldest son Adrian and a rose bush growing on a fence.

Ginger added the hashtag: “#ooo,” which is short for out of office.

THE STORM

Ginger recently announced that she was in the San Francisco Bay Area during her trip.

The star took to social media and posted a photo of the approaching March storm.

She warned, “Strongest March storm on record in the SF Bay Area (based on pressure) and guess where we’re going to visit family?!”
