Ghislaine Maxwell is dragged into court in shackles in a dramatic sketch as she confronts her victims at her sentencing

Disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was dragged into court in a blue prison uniform and shackled for her sentencing today while her victims looked on.

Dramatic court sketches show Maxwell looking down as she is brought into the courtroom wearing a white mask.

During the morning session of her sentencing hearing, she frequently played with her hair and adjusted her mask.

The visitors’ gallery in the courtroom in the Southern Circuit of New York is full and crowded courtrooms have been made available to the remaining members of the public.

Epstein victims Sarah Ransome, Elizabeth Stein, Annie Farmer and the accuser known as “Kate” are all present in the courtroom, as is controversial juror Scotty David.

Before the hearing, Maxwell entered the room with shackles around her ankles, which rattled as she walked to her seat.

Maxwell lured vulnerable teenagers into abusing at his various luxurious estates for the vile multimillionaire Epstein – with the pair being labeled “partners in crime”.

In what has been dubbed the “trial of the century,” the jury heard Maxwell capturing and “serving” girls as young as 14 for Epstein – even complicit in the abuse himself.

The prosecutor said Maxwell was a “sophisticated predator who knew exactly what she was doing” who “played the same playbook over and over again.”

She was found guilty by a jury in December on five out of six counts of sex trafficking.
