Geri-Care Pharmaceuticals Recalls OTC Drugs Due to Packaging Issues – CBS Pittsburgh

By: KDKA-TV News Staff

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – We have a recall request to notify you regarding an issue with your medicine cabinet.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling approximately 800 bottles of Geri-Care brand-name acetaminophen and aspirin.

The commission said the packaging is not child resistant, so it poses a risk of poisoning for children.

There’s nothing wrong with the tablet – just the packaging.

You should put medicines where children cannot reach them or put them in another container.

Another option is to contact the company for a refund.
