With the latest update, WhatsApp is pushing users to support multiple devices.
Everyone in WhatsApp’s latest beta test (free to join) will automatically be opted into cross-device support, as revealed by the executive at WABetaInfo.
To get access to this feature, you need to join WhatsApp beta – the test version of the app.
This is where Meta (formerly Facebook) tests new WhatsApp features first.
Alternatively, you can wait for the feature to roll out to the public – but that could take months.

How to download WhatsApp beta
To download the WhatsApp beta for your smartphone, you need to go to Google Play on Android and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.
Click the “I Join” button and then click “Join” to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the app’s beta update.
WhatsApp Beta can also be downloaded on computers via the Google Play site.
Downloading WhatsApp beta on iOS is a much more complicated and risky process, so it is not recommended.
