JACKLYN Zeman delivered a “heartfelt” message to General Hospital fans just weeks before her sudden death.

“A big, heartfelt thank you to the very special people who have watched, supported and kept us on the air all these years.”
The actress said goodbye with a smile: “We love you.”
She captioned the sweet video: “To all our friends and family at General Hospital with love.”
Jacklyn’s final appearance on the soap before her death was in April for the wedding of her character’s grandson.
Her death was announced by series executive producer Frank Valentini on Monday night.
“It breaks my heart to announce the death of our beloved Jackie Zeman,” he said in an interview tweet.

ABC Entertainment also released a statement regarding Zeman’s death, which is available to Dateline.
“She leaves an enduring legacy for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the bad girl-turned-hero and will always be remembered for her kind heart and bright spirit,” the company said.
