Gareth Bale taunts England ahead of World Cup opener as he says Wales have STILL more passion than you

GARETH BALE has once again mocked England by declaring: Wales still have more passion than you.
The Dragons captain famously claimed on the eve of Euro 2016 that his team-mates had more pride than then-group rivals Three Lions.

England, who start their World Cup bid against Iran in Qatar on Monday, have been drawn against Bale and company in Group B and meet on 29 November.
Bale reignited his mockery when he said: “I think we have the greatest passion. I know what you’re aiming for – I’m not stupid!
“But personally I think we are the most passionate country in the world and I don’t think that will ever change.
“Even going into this tournament I still feel the same even though we’re older.”
Bale inspired Wales to reach the semi-finals of the Euros in France six years ago and is on a mission to do so again in their first World Cup appearance in 64 years.
Rob Page’s side will not only carry the spirit of 1958, while Bale’s old guard Aaron Ramsey, Chris Gunter, Joe Allen and Wayne Hennessey will commemorate the late ex-Wales boss Gary Speed during the tournament will.
Last week, winger Dan James also paid an emotional tribute to his father Kevan, who died suddenly in May 2019.
Ben Davies spoke in Welsh at Saturday’s press conference and the Dragons’ official World Cup song – Dafydd Iwan’s ‘Yma o Hyd’, which means ‘We’re Still Here’ in their native tongue – is also a smash hit.

Bale added: “It’s about the growth of our country: people know our history better, people in our own country are learning more about the history of where we came from and what happened.
“We as players are still learning.
“Hopefully in the future when you talk to people from other countries, they won’t ask where Wales is. You will know.
“It’s an amazing part of our history.”
