Gabriel Jesus LATEST, Nketiah set to STAY, Elneny new Arsenal contract, Abraham transfer target, Saliba return

Why should he?

Former Manchester City ace David James questioned why Gabriel Jesus wanted to leave the Etihad for Arsenal.

James told Genting Casino: “If you look at the performances of Man City players this season, Bernardo Silva and Rodri have played more than 30 games in the Premier League, but all the players in that attacking lineup have played around 25 games, so do they have ‘ i don’t play every week.

“Pep [Guardiola’s] The rotation worked perfectly in the sense that they won the Premier League again. I would imagine [Erling] Haaland would fit into this scheme, he won’t play every game. Also because of his injuries it is questionable whether he is physically able to play all the games.

“That being said, Jesus will have a common role if he stays at Manchester City. This isn’t a situation where you buy a player and use it all the time, so there’s still room for Jesus and why would he want to leave?

“They have the best team in England for the last five years so he would risk going somewhere else to Arsenal who aren’t even in the Champions League yet or rather stay at Man City and try to get the Saint Grail, what is the Champions League?”
