Spurs fan ‘nervous’ about Jesus

Tottenham fan and pundit Darren Ambrose is concerned about Arsenal’s pursuit of Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus.

The Gunners are likely to sign the Brazilian shortly, with Ambrose not happy with the move from a Spurs perspective.

He told talkSPORT: “All in all a good deal. He has something to prove. As a Spurs supporter a few weeks ago, I’m obviously delighted with the Spurs signings and the players we’ve been associated with.

“But Arsenal seem to be moving now. If this goes over the line then he goes with a point to prove. I’m actually saying that a bit ironically.

“He comes from Manchester City and has won a wealth of trophies there. He just won the Premier League title and he’s played a key role.

“But they brought in Erling Haaland, he couldn’t really come in as a number 9 anyway, they played without a number 9 so it’s a good deal for Manchester City at £45m and I think it’s a fantastic signing for Arsenal.

“I think he will do very well Gabriel Jesus. He’s a goalscorer and I think with a point to prove it’s a great signing and as a Spurs supporter I’m nervous.
