Fury ‘bottles’ Usyk fight after pullout even though Joshua is ready to put cash aside says Ukraine promoter

TYSON FURY has contributed an undisputed fight against Oleksandr Usyk, according to the Ukraine promoter.
Gypsy King negotiated to face former undisputed cruiser champion as they prepare to pay fees for Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte.
And Eddie Hearnwho promote both Joshua and Whyterevealed that Usyk’s representatives believe it was Fury who caused the deal.
Talking to iFL TV About the situation, Hearn said: “Anthony Joshua stepped up to take on Oleksandr Usyk.
“Not, ‘Wait a minute, I’ll just post a few Instagram posts pretending I want to fight him.”
“I talked to Alex Krassyuk [Usyk’s promoter] last night – they felt that Tyson Fury spoiled the fight with Usyk. “
These comments from Hearn suggest Joshua is willing to step aside to allow a Fury-Usyk clash.
But Fury now looks set to take on mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte next after the promoter for the WBC champion Frank Warren won the auction on Friday.
That frees Joshua to rematch Usyk in an attempt to reclaim the heavyweight belt he lost at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last year.
And Hearn pre-confirmed the Fury-Whyte wallet bid that the all-British clash is expected take place before the end of April.
Usyk-Joshua II will then launch around May.
Hearn said: “I think April 29 is the day if we win the money that we have to make the fight.
“So we have to do that fight at that point. It’s Fury against Whyte.

“AJ, I think it’ll be a little later. I think it’s May. So I think you’ll meet Fury-Whyte in April. I mean if we win the bid.
“If Frank [Warren] won the bid, maybe he does [it on a different date]. “
Warren won the bid and issued a statement confirming the date and location would be announced in due time.
