Darwin Nunez is expected to start for Liverpool after coming on from the bench in last weekend’s 3-1 win over Man City.

However, Diogo Jota, Ibrahim Konate and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are guaranteed to be out.

Meanwhile, Fulham boss Marco Silva has revealed his side are not ready for the new season.

Ex-Liverpool forward Harry Wilson will be out for two months with a knee injury, Joe Bryan’s broken hand needs a check-up and Nathaniel Chalobah also has a muscle problem.

Silva said: “No one can prepare for a season with just two centre-backs. We have two central defenders at this level.

“I have to congratulate our players because they have worked really hard, but anyone who understands football can see that we need at least five or six more players, that’s clear.”

However, the quartet of Bernd Leno, Kevin Mbabu, Joao Paulinha and Andreas Perreira will be there.
