JURGEN KLOPP has been trolled by Fulham after his comments about the Craven Cottage pitch.
Liverpool came to a 2-2 draw with the Cottagers on Saturday as they twice came from behind to take a point in the Premier League opener.
And the Reds boss blamed Fulham’s dry place as the reason his side failed to claim the win in west London.
He said: “In the beginning the attitude wasn’t right, then we wanted to fight back, but that’s not easy anymore. The place was dry, things like that.
“We played a really bad game and got a point. The best thing about the game is the result. It’s fine, but I don’t think we deserve more than that.”
And Fulham were quick to sneer at Klopp’s comments as they took to social media to show their pitch is being watered.
A picture was posted on Marco Silva’s page Twitter of three sprinklers to be used before kick-off from 12:00 p.m. to 30:00 p.m.
Under the tweet, they quipped, “The lawn at Craven Cottage looked absolutely gorgeous yesterday.”
Fans were let down by Fulham’s upload as one user said: “I’m here for this level of passive-aggressive belittling.”
Another wrote: “Those aren’t sprinklers, those are Klopp’s tears.”

A third added: “That’s some great banter from Fulham.”
This backer joked, “Admin deserves a raise.”
Meanwhile, one fan commented: “I can 100% stand behind this style of s***housery from Fulham.”
One then simply said: “Are those Klopp’s tears?”
