Everton keeper Jordan Pickford married Megan Davison in a typically lavish Maldives beach ceremony over the weekend.

And they’re not the only ones – these players either proposed or got married ahead of the football season.

Manchester United player Harry and his partner Fern, both 29, flew to Chateau Varennes, Burgundy, on a £50,000,000 private jet before saying yes in a £250,000 ceremony.

The happy couple had already legally wed in a low-key, secret ceremony at Crewe Register Office after Maguire’s training.

The bride had her hen done at a £7,500-a-night resort in Dubai, with other WAGs in attendance.
