Players who signed up faced bans, fines and suspensions from the PGA Tour.

But two-time major champion Dustin Johnson is leading the field for the first of eight events this year with at least $20 million in prize money for each.

Here’s how to follow this week’s action, along with all the format and field information.

Who is playing in London this week?

The full field of 48 players was confirmed by organizers on Monday night and includes 27 of the top 150 golfers in the world.

Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia are among the leading names who have signed on.

The full field in alphabetical order reads:

Oliver Bekker, Richard Bland, Itthipat Buranatanyarat, Laurie Canter, Ratchanon Chantananuwat, Hennie Du Plessis, Oliver Fisher, Sergio Garcia, Talor Gooch, Branden Grace, Justin Harding, Sam Horsfield, Dustin Johnson, Matt Jones, Sadom Kaewkanjana, Martin Kaymer, Phachara Khongwatmai, Sihwan Kim, Ryosuke Kinoshita, Chase Koepka, Jinichiro Kozuma, Pablo Larrazabal, Viraj Madappa, Graeme McDowell, Phil Mickelson, Jediah Morgan, Kevin Na, Shaun Norris, Andy Ogletree, Louis Oosthuizen, Wade Ormsby, Adrian Otaegui, Turk Pettit, James Piot, Ian Poulter, David Puig, JC Ritchie, Charl Schwarzel, Travis Smyth, Ian Snyman, Hudson Swafford, Hideto Tanihara, Peter Uihlein, Scott Vincent, Lee Westwood, Bernd Wiesberger, Blake Windred, Kevin Yuan.

What is the format?

The 48 players will be drafted into 12 teams of four and there will be a shotgun start.

This means that all players tee off from a different hole on the course at the same time.

The events will be held over three days and 54 holes – as opposed to 72 holes and four days like the PGA and European Tour – and there will be no cut.

During the course of the event, an individual and a team event will take place at the same time.

The individual winner is the player with the lowest 54 hole score.

In the team competition, the two best results of the first two rounds count.

For the third and final round, the best three scores count and the team with the lowest total score after 54 holes wins the event.

How can I view it?

The event will be streamed live on as well as YouTube and Facebook.

Coverage begins Thursday at 9:00am ET – 2:00pm UK time.

A list of broadcasters for television coverage has not yet been made available.

What is the LIV Golf schedule?

The opening event in London will be the first of eight events planned for 2022.

The next four will take place in the United States between July and September.

And there will be back-to-back events in Thailand and Saudi Arabia in October.

The 2022 series is scheduled to end in Miami on October 30. FREE Live Stream, Full Field and Format Featuring Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson CONFIRMED
