BARCELONA has reached “complete agreement” to sign AC Milan star Franck Kessie as a free agent in the summer, reports say.
That’s according to Gerard Romero, who claims that Manchester United and Tottenham target Kessie have agreed to move to the Nou Camp in June when his Milan contract expires.
United are looking to strengthen in midfield, which has been one of the key areas they have lacked throughout their disappointing season.
And the Red Devils will have more problems in that department as Paul Pogba seems ready to run out of contract and leave for free this summer.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte has also insisted on the importance of adding quality to his squad to challenge for the top spots of the Premier League.
But both giants Prem look set to miss the Ivory Coast international as he is close to joining Barcelona.
The Blaugrana has been very active in the transfer market since Xavi returned as manager in November.
The Catalan giants have signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Adama Traore, Ferran Torres and Dani Alves.
Barcelona are currently tracking agents who are about to become free mainly due to their financial problems.
That is why they are so interested in Kessie, who has accumulated 36 goals and 16 assists in 213 appearances in all competitions for Milan since his arrival at Atalanta in 2019.
