According to information from Downdetector, many users reported problems with Fox News and Fox Sports around and after 1:00 p.m. EST.

Reports of Fox’s outage peaked at around 1.14pm, when about 455 alleged viewer claims were unable to see the trophy ceremony.

Argentina fans who couldn’t see Lionel Messi lifting the trophy alongside his teammates are probably frustrated.

After a close game and two goals from Frenchman Kylian Mbappé within a short time, Argentina later prevailed.

The final score ended at three to three and went to a penalty shootout in which Argentina won four to two.
