Fox News’ Benjamin Hall “overheard his daughter telling him to get out of the car” after he nearly died in a Russian bombing in Ukraine

A YEAR after he was nearly killed in a Russian bombing raid while covering the war in Ukraine, Benjamin Hall says a miracle helped his survival and recovery.

The Fox News reporter returned to television in January and told viewers he feels “more confident” than ever, even after overcoming multiple serious injuries.

Hall was seriously injured in the attack that killed fellow officers Pierre Zakrzewski and Oleksandra Kuvshynova last March.

Three bombs went off that day, causing Hall to lose his right left below the knee, most of his left foot, and his left thumb.

He told Fox and Friends that he could only see with one eye.

However, Hall said he heard his daughter Honor’s voice while blacked out after the second bomb.

“Daddy, you need to get out of the car,” the voice insisted.

Just before the third bomb hit and set him on fire, Hall listened to the voice and got out of the car.

“I’ve spoken to a few people who have had near-death experiences and they see their family a lot,” Hall told The Associated Press.

“I think if you take everything else away, what means the most to us, the place we want to be? It’s back home with your family.”

He said he believes the experience was a miracle and it was his daughter’s voice that ultimately saved him that day.

“I was saved that day. It’s the title of my book. I was in the middle seat of a small car — it’s the death seat — I kind of got out and I’m still alive,” he said.

“Whether it was my daughter or if it was an angel, I have no answer.”

Hall’s memoir Saved: A War Reporter’s Mission to Make It Home was released on March 14.

“For me, this book is about being saved—it’s being saved by all these people. And that understanding can give you so much power,” he told Variety.

“We all think of Pierre every day and I think that’s really important to all of us and I think of my family every day and I’ve been through everything thanks to them. And you have to remember those close things and keep fighting for them every day.”
