Smoke billowed through the sky after flames ripped through the factory.
Rescuers worked tirelessly in the days after the blast to find survivors and locate the dead.
On Sunday, police announced that a fourth body had been discovered in the rubble and that three people were still nowhere to be found.
“I want to reassure you all that we will not rest until each person is accounted for,” said Wayne Holben, West Reading Borough Police Chief.
“West Reading, we’ve got your back and we’ll work this out.”
Crews found a survivor in the rubble early Saturday, giving hope to those still missing.
“The discovery gives hope that more will be found,” Chief Holben said on Saturday.
After the explosion, eight people were taken to the hospital.
Of the eight people, two arrived in good condition, one was transferred and the others were due for discharge, according to Reading Hospital.
