DESPITE the same price, Dollar Tree’s products differ in quality, according to a TikTok influencer.
Maddi runs the TikTok @peachyymaddi and has over 450,000 followers.
On the site, she reviews the best deals and products at Dollar Tree, Five Below, and Amazon.
She also advises on self-care and cleaning routines.
In a recent video, she went through four items to grab at Dollar Tree and two to leave on the shelf.
BUY: GLASS GLASS
Maddi was very taken with the new small glasses from Luminescence.
The glasses are available in both pink and purple.
“This could be really cute to keep your jewelry in or use in the bathroom,” she said.
AVOID: ROBOT FIGURE
Maddi wasn’t impressed with a small robot figurine she found on the shelf.
“Dollar Tree is releasing robot decor and I don’t know what’s going on,” she said.
Still, some of their followers were enchanted by the little robots.
“I bought the cute little robot and a spaceship from Dollar Tree years ago. I’m glad they’re back, I want more!” said a follower.
“No, the little robots are cute for a child’s room. We got them with rockets last time,” they said.
Maddi claimed Tool Bench’s brushes were buggy.
“I’ll say those brushes are falling off.
These include two-inch and three-inch varieties.
BUY: FOAM BRUSHES
However, Maddi is a fan of Tool Bench’s foam brushes
“But I have to say that the foam brushes work perfectly,” she said.
BUY: GARAGE SALE SIGN
As the weather gets warmer, people will start setting up shops with their outdoor flea markets.
And Maddi thinks you should be prepared with big flea market signs from Dollar Tree.
“Here’s a quick PSA as we approach spring and garage sale season. You might as well go to Dollar Tree to get your shield.
BUY: MINI TUPPERWARE AND STORAGE BASKETS
Maddi is a big fan of Sure Fresh Mini Storage Jars.
These tiny Tupperware-like containers come in packs of 10.
Overall, Maddi was impressed with Dollar Tree’s container selection and pointed to a wide range of storage baskets.
MORE WAYS TO SAVE
While almost everything at Dollar Tree costs $1.25, prices at other retailers can vary wildly.
A good way to keep up to date with the best deals in your area is to get an app like Brickseek or Fetch that will show you some of the items on sale in your area.
Other apps like Ibotta offer you cash back rewards for purchasing certain items.
And it’s also good to look for hidden clearance sales when shopping at Walmart.
Many of the store’s biggest sales can only be found by scanning the product’s barcode with your Walmart app.
Check out the “aggressive” new changes being made to many Dollar Tree locations.
And see if you’ve been affected by the recent spate of store closures.
